A social media executive quickly interprets the client brief and collaborates with the creative and strategy teams to translate marketing goals into captivating social media campaigns. Responsible for planning, implementing and monitoring the client’s social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase sales.

As a Social Media Executive at Rage, you’ll get to:

  • Monitor the social media channels.
  • Assist with the planning of marketing strategies to help drive traffic and engagement to the website.
  • Produce content for social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Google + and Pinterest.
  • Track social media influencers.
  • Produce a consistent brand message across all the social media channels
    Regularly monitor competitor social media sites and create competitor analysis reports.
  • Assist with social media performance reports.
  • Engage with social media users and respond to any mentions over Twitter, Facebook, Google + and Pinterest.

Ideally, you should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business/ English/ Journalism/ Media or a similar subject (or relevant experience).
  • Certifications/ Courses in Digital Marketing.
  • A passion for all things digital.
  • Experience in building social media communities and general marketing experience.
  • Good written skills and an eye for detail.
  • Previous experience in blogging.
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
